Station F

Station F is the world’s largest startup campus, founded by Xavier Niel in Paris. Spanning 34,000 square meters, it accommodates up to 3,500 entrepreneurs. The project’s goal was to design a 100m² room as a “CREATIVITY ROOM” – a playground where startup teams can unleash their creative minds to accelerate innovation.

Materialization of the creative process

DESIGN, MAKE, PLAY are the three pillars of this fun, colorful, and entirely hands-on space. The room consists of various areas, each with different furniture, tools, and equipment tailored according to the creative process. A visual wall with a storyboard and Business Model Innovation canvases helps think in pictures and sketch initial concepts. A manual workshop with creative supplies facilitates rapid prototyping to bring ideas to life. A giant LEGO wall invites you to add your creation, celebrating innovation, while a game library offers games and books on creativity and innovation. The colors and decor create a visual and cognitive break from the building’s contemporary, minimalist architecture.

Agile furniture and creativity equipment

In this agile room, modular tables, folding chairs, and a small storage area allow the space to be reorganized at any time. Design teams and facilitators enjoy numerous tools for collective creativity, such as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® kits, Business Model Innovation canvases, storyboards, the Heroes wall, theater accessories, “Brain Shaker” cards, and prototyping supplies. The “CREATIVITY ROOM” lets everyone reconnect with their inner child in an instant.
